Frugal living, or the thrifty lifestyle, has become an intriguing topic amidst the complexity of modern economics. This study employs in-depth interviews and content analysis to understand the views, attitudes, and practices of Generation Z regarding frugal living. The findings indicate that Generation Z has a strong understanding of the importance of managing finances wisely. They associate frugal living with sustainability and social responsibility concepts. However, there are challenges in implementing frugal living, including high consumption temptations and pressures from social environments. (2) Student buying interest. This type of research is quantitative. The data collection technique uses (1) observation, ((2) questionnaires and (3) documentation. The data analysis technique is to use statistical data analysis with a simple linear regression formula. The results of this research show that (1) there is a significant influence between the Facebook Social Media variables (X1) regarding interest in buying online among students of the Economic Education Study Program at the University of Flores. The data used in this research is secondary data from BPS in West Manggarai in 2016-2020. Data analysis using regression was then analyzed using SPSS 16.0., R=0.532, meaning that the independent variable unemployment rate was able to explain the value of the dependent variable by 5 3.2%, the remaining 46.8% was influenced by other factors. The R square value is 0.283 or 28.3 percent, while the remaining 71.7 percent is influenced by other variables. The type of research used is explanatory which is used to identify why a phenomenon occurs and how variables influence each other, namely the use of ATM cards influences student consumptive behavior. The data collection technique uses documentation studies and questionnaires, the analysis tool uses simple regression analysis. The results show that the use of ATM cards has a significant effect on the consumerist behavior of economic education students with a percentage of 83%. The conclusion is that ATM cards do make it easier for students to carry out financial transactions, but on the other hand they can also encourage consumer behavior. The type of research used in this study is an explanation to explain whether there is an influence of the independent variable, namely scholarship, on the dependent variable, namely learning motivation—data collection techniques using questionnaires for primary data and secondary data using documentation studies. The data obtained were analyzed using simple linear analysis. The study results show that scholarships have a significant effect by contributing 24.8 percent to influencing learning motivation in economic education study programs.
