EKSPLORASI BENTUK ANYAMAN ROTAN PADA USAHA KERAJINAN MASYARAKAT DESA SITA

Mathematics learning can be obtained through real, everyday life. One form of studying mathematics can be through weaving. The woven material can come from various forms of rattan plants that exist in each region. Sita Village is one of the producers of rattan weaving. The purpose of this study is to explore mathematical concepts found in woven rattan so that it can be used as a learning resource in learning mathematics. This type of research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Data collection was carried out using the interview method and the documentation method. The instrument used is in the form of interview guidelines and documentation. The results of this research show that the forms of woven rattan products in Sita Village, such as Rattan Plates, are relevant in a circular shape, Rattan Chairs in a rectangular shape, where these shapes are found in the concept of plane geometry studied in mathematics lessons at school.
