SYSTEMATIC LITERATURE REVIEW: GERAK TARI TRADISIONAL DALAM KAJIAN ETNOMATEMATIKA

Abstract

Indonesia is a country that has cultural diversity, one of which is traditional dance. In mathematics, there is a term, "Ethnomathematics" which simply means an integration between mathematics and the culture in society. The culture in this society can be used as material for learning mathematics. This scientific article was prepared using the Systematic Literature Review method to identify and review previous research regarding ethnomathematics studies in traditional dance movements in Indonesia. There were 8 articles studied with publication years ranging from 2019 to 2024 and came from the Google Scholar site and other national journals that were accredited by Sinta. The results of the research show that ethnomathematics content is present in the form of activities and mathematical aspects related to traditional dance, especially in the dance movements. The most frequently encountered aspects of mathematics are geometric concepts, especially in terms of angles, lines, plane figures, spatial figures and geometric transformations. The results of this research can change the view that mathematics can be learned in a fun way through cultural exploration. This research can also be used as a source for learning mathematics and a way to preserve culture in Indonesia.
