The results of this study show that there are 15 data found, where 2 data or 13.33% are formal equivalence and 13 data or 86.67% are dynamic equivalence. From the results of this analysis, the researcher concludes that the dynamic equivalence approach is more dominant than formal equivalence in this translation, this helps English-speaking listeners feel the meaning and nuances of longing even though there are some parts that create ambiguity. This research emphasizes the importance of lexical equivalence so that the translation is not only accurate, but also able to touch the feelings of English-speaking listeners.
Fransiska Jedho Emanuel B Hayon Agnesia Bewu Emanuel Ranggajatayu Maria Y K Kobun Copyright (c) 2025 Fransiska Jedho, Emanuel B Hayon, Agnesia Bewu, Emanuel Ranggajatayu, Maria Y K Kobun https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 2025-05-21 2025-05-21 11 1 41 50 10.37478/lantern.v11i1.5755 A THEORETICAL STUDY ON AMBIVERT STUDENTS IN RELATION TO THE ACCURACY OF SYNTAX IN NARRATIVE WRITING https://e-journal.uniflor.ac.id/index.php/lantern/article/view/6029
The main purpose of this article attempts to explore theoritical framework of the impact of extrovert, introvert, and ambivert on the accuracy of syntax in narrative writing. Using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, the present study find that the ambiverted students have a balance trait of personality (introvert and extrovert).
