PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PROBLEM BASED LEARNING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR PESERTA DIDIK KELAS VIII A SMP SWASTA KATOLIK CHRISTO REGI ENDE

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes by applying the Problem Based Learning model. The research method used is Classroom Action Research. This research was conducted in class VIII A of Christo Regi Ende Catholic Junior High School with the number of subjects studied as many as 22 students. This research is focused on the material of Spatial Interaction in life in ASEAN countries. Data collection techniques used are tests, observation sheets, and questionnaires. The results showed an increase in teacher performance, student performance and the average final test score in the first cycle and second cycle of students. The increase is inseparable from the performance of students who carry out their duties well and the performance of teachers who have carried out their duties as teachers to the maximum in accordance with the Problem Based Learning learning model. It can be concluded that the Problem Based Learning learning model is very suitable to be applied in an effort to improve student learning outcomes in the transaction payment machine material in class VIII A of Christo Regi Ende Catholic Middle School.
