Abstract
This action research uses the Kemmis and Mc. Taggart aims to improve reading comprehension skills for grade III Roworeke SDK 1. Data observations, interviews, and tests were analyzed descriptively to describe the results of the action. The indicator of the success of the mastery learning action is 65, and the class average is 80.00.
The average class of cycle 1 is 70.63, learning completeness is 75%. The average value of the second cycle class is 83.13, learning completeness is 93.75%. Action increased by 12.50% from cycle one, student learning completeness increased by 22.19%. It was concluded that the use of the CIRC model in learning reading comprehension was able to improve students' reading comprehension skills.
