PENERAPAN METODE DEMONSTRASI PADA MATA PELAJARAN MATEMATIKA MATERI BANGUN DATAR UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS II SDK PUUBHETO

Abstract

The aims of the study were to find out (1) the application of the demonstration method in learning mathematics for grade II students in the Puubheto SDK, Ende District, Ende Regency, (2) the learning outcomes of second grade students in learning mathematics with flat shapes after the demonstration method was applied. This research is a classroom action research (CAR), a problem-solving strategy that utilizes real action and the process of developing the ability to detect and solve problems. While the approach used in this study is a qualitative approach. The location of this research was carried out at the Puubheto SDK, Ende District, Ende Regency. The subjects in this study were students of Class II SDK Puubheto, totaling 20 people. The data collection technique used in this research is to use observation, tests, and interviews. Based on the results of the research conducted, it was obtained data that from the results of the initial test students who achieved the Minimum Completeness Criteria score were 7 people out of 20 people with a percentage of 35%, the first cycle who got a complete score was 15 people out of 20 people with the percentage reached and the cycle I II all students reach the Minimum Completeness Criteria with a percentage of 100%. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that the use of the demonstration method can improve the learning outcomes of class II students at SDK Puubheto, Ende District, Ende Regency.
