Abstract

The formulation of the research problem is how to increase Civics learning outcomes for Class I students at SD Inpres Sumuraman for the 2020/2021 Academic Year, after applying the picture and picture learning model? The goal to be achieved in this study is to improve the learning outcomes of Civics Class I students at SD Inpres Sumuraman after using the picture and picture learning model. This type of research is classroom action research. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation and tests. The results showed that the implementation of the action by applying the picture and picture model was proven to be able to improve the learning outcomes of students in class I SDI Sumuraman. This can be seen from the value of learning outcomes in the initial test the class average was only 52 while in first cycle it became 61.10 and in second cycle it increased to 78.10. The percentage of completeness increased where in the initial test to first cycle it increased from 20% to 45% or increased by 25% and then increased again by 55% to 100% in second cycle.
