Abstract

This study aims to determine the achievement of applying the reading technique of the cooperative learning type group investigation model of class XI AKL-2 students in improving their learning outcomes. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (CAR), namely by using action in the form of establishing a cooperative learning type group investigation learning model. This Classroom Action Research was conducted from September to October 2022, students of class XI AKL-2 at SMK Negeri 1 Waingapu. The results of this study are as follows: learning outcomes increase seen from the average cycle I 76.36 increased in cycle 2 to 78.32. In addition, there was an increase in the percentage of attendance, attention, interest, activeness and enthusiasm for student learning in the teaching and learning process as shown by the average active participation of students in cycle 1 of 63.25% increasing to 77.5%.
