Abstract

The formulation of the research problem is (1) How is the jigsaw model applied to improve social studies learning achievement for Class V SDI Lokoboko, Ndona District, Ende Regency? (2) What is the learning achievement of students in social studies class V at SDI Lokoboko, Ndona District, Ende Regency after using the jigsaw model? This research aims to determine the use of the jigsaw model in social studies learning and to determine students' learning achievements in social studies learning Class V SDI Lokoboko after using the jigsaw model. This research is classroom action research (PTK). The subjects of this research were class V students with a total of 16 students. Data collection techniques use interview techniques, observation, tests and documentation. The research results show that by using the jigsaw model there is an increase in learning achievement. Where learning completeness in the pre-test was 18.75%, it increased in cycle 1 to 68.75% and in cycle II it reached 100%.
