Abstract
This research is a Classroom Action Research which was conducted in two cycles to describe the application of the think pair and share cooperative learning model in mathematics learning and to determine the learning achievement of students in mathematics learning after the implementation of the Think pair and share type of cooperative learning model. The results showed that the teacher's ability to manage the think pair and share cooperative learning type was very good. While the average activity of students in second cycle was 87.66. The learning achievement of students has increased from an average value of 73 in first cycle to 88 in second cycle.
