Abstract

This study aims to determine and describe: (1) The application of the genius learning method in the learning of Service Company Accounting Cycle Materials in Class XII Social Sciences students at Adhyaksa Ende Private High School, (2) The learning outcomes of Class XII IPS students in economics subject in corporate accounting cycle teaching materials. services at Adhyaksa Ende Private High School.

The type of research used in this research is classroom action research (PTK) which is carried out in 2 cycles. The data collection techniques used were (1) observation, (2) tests and (3) documentation. The subjects of this study were 20 students of the Adhyaksa class XII  IPS private high school.

The results showed that; (1) The application of the genius learning model can be applied well in the learning of economics on service company accounting success material to students of class XII IPS at Adhyaksa Ende Private High School. In the first cycle the application level reached 65.62% or was categorized as quite good and in the second cycle the application level increased to 93.75% or was included in the very good category, (2) The learning outcomes of class XII IPS students at Adhyaksa Ende Private High School after applying the method genius learning in cycle I; Of the 20 students who completed 9 people or 45% and those who did not complete were 11 people or 55% with an average score of 67. In the second cycle increased from 20 students all completed or 100% with a mean score of 88.5 . Thus the action hypothesis which reads "The application of the Genius learning method of learning can improve the learning outcomes of class XII social studies students at Adhyaksa Ende Private High School is accepted.
