The community service to society activity (CSS) in the form of training in the use of technology-based interactive learning media, namely Quizizz, aims to enhance the digital literacy skills of the Sare Pawe teacher-friendly community at SMPN 2 South Ende. The activities, conducted in the form of workshops, were attended by teachers and students, as well as lecturers and students from the Biology Education study program at the University of Flores, who served as resource persons. The training methods used were briefing, discussion, question and answer, and direct practice accompanied by mentoring. Based on the results obtained, it is known that the Quizizz platform is useful in efforts to improve digital literacy skills and abilities for teachers at SMPN2 South Ende. The Quizizz platform allows the creation of a learning process in the classroom by teachers more interactively and interestingly because of the gamification element, so that students become more enthusiastic about learning, which will have an impact on student learning outcomes.
Veronika P S M WaeMelania PriskaYosephina Payu WaoAinun JariyahMaria Tifana Dhone

This community service activity aims to enhance the creativity of students at SMK Negeri 1 Kawunganten through training in the development of Android-based educational games. The background of this initiative is the need to empower students to become creators of digital technology, rather than merely users, amid the rapid growth of the gaming and mobile technology industries. The training was conducted using the QuickAppNinja platform, which enables participants to create quiz-based games without requiring programming skills. The methods used included lectures, demonstrations, hands-on practice, and participatory evaluation, with an approach tailored for beginners. The activity lasted four hours and covered the introduction to educational game concepts, game creation practice, and evaluation sessions. The results showed that after the training, the majority (71%) of participants experienced an increase in confidence in developing Android-based applications and could follow the training process effectively, producing simple game prototypes. This training enhanced students’ digital literacy, technical skills, and confidence in creating digital products. In conclusion, the Android-based educational game training proved effective in fostering student creativity and is a relevant strategy to strengthen competencies in the creative industry era.
Dede YusufTri Stiyo FamujiRaden Bagus Bambang SumantriWalidy Rahman Hakim

https://e-journal.uniflor.ac.id/index.php/mahajana/article/view/5853

The advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has had a significant impact on various sectors, including education. However, the adoption of AI in Indonesia remains uneven, particularly in remote and rural areas. This study aims to assess the effectiveness of a training program on the use of ChatGPT as a teaching aid for elementary school teachers at SD Negeri 3 Sibetan, Karangasem, Bali. The training was designed to enhance teachers' understanding, practical skills, and perceptions of AI integration in education. Using a quantitative approach with a one-group pretest-posttest experimental design, data were collected through conceptual knowledge tests, practical skill observations, and perception questionnaires. The results revealed a significant increase in teachers' knowledge, with average posttest scores rising from 32.2 to 78.0. Additionally, practical skills improved notably, as indicated by a posttest average score of 73.0. Positive perception also increased, with 71% of participants expressing enthusiasm for using ChatGPT in the classroom. Despite limited infrastructure, the training successfully introduced AI-based tools to rural educators, demonstrating the transformative potential of AI in promoting equitable, innovative, and interactive education. This study contributes to the discourse on AI in education and underscores the importance of contextualised teacher training in rural settings.
Bimantyoso HamdikatamaKusrini KusriniEma Utami

The community engagement program aims to strengthen the bargaining position of corn farmers in Turen Subdistrict by revitalising a distribution system based on social institutions, particularly farmer cooperatives. The significance of this initiative lies in addressing the inequality in agricultural product distribution, which has long been dominated by middlemen, weakening farmers’ economic power. The approach employed is Participatory Action Research (PAR), which actively involves farmers in all stages, including problem identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The results show that establishing a participatory-based cooperative not only improves distribution efficiency and price transparency but also fosters social transformation, characterised by increased collective awareness, solidarity, and farmers’ independence in managing the distribution process. These findings reinforce the role of local institutions as a foundation for sustainable economic empowerment and demonstrate that participatory-based interventions are effective in building a fairer and more adaptive distribution system.
Agus SetyawantoDwi AstutiekBachtiar HariyadiRipin Ikhwandi
