Various interaction and instruction activities have been carried out to strengthen the community's awareness of the main nutrition in children, especially in the first 1000 days of life. The method carried out regarding stunting is by conducting offline seminars while providing knowledge about stunting and also participating in preventing stunting, namely through the integrated health post (Posyandu). KKN has educated the community about the meaning of stunting, its characteristics, and its impacts. The speaker from one of the KKN students from the Guidance and Counseling department has explained stunting and how to prevent it and conducted a question and answer session to strengthen the community's awareness of the main nutrition in children. KKN activities also focus on the role of parents, especially in empowering mothers by providing knowledge about MPASI (Complementary Foods for Breast Milk) and the importance of providing additional food for toddlers. This aims to reduce the number of stunting in Benteng village. Stunting counselling activities in the village involve health checks from the Integrated Health Post (Posyandu). This aims to strengthen the awareness of the community's insight into the main nutrition in children and how to prevent it. Thus, KKN activities in Benteng village have played an important role in increasing public awareness of stunting and its prevention and reducing stunting rates in the area.</em></p> Muhammad Basri, Eliyas Santi Bancin, Sarah Kumala B Bara, Mutya Fradilla Budiman, Putri Naimah Muthe, Ernida Hasibuan, Erma Yanti Tanjung, Wahyuni Pohan, Ayu Putri Julia, Akmal Fakhlevi, Bima Tarigan Copyright (c) 2024 Muhammad Basri, Eliyas Santi Bancin, Sarah Kumala B Bara, Mutya Fradilla Budiman, Putri Naimah Muthe, Ernida Hasibuan, Erma Yanti Tanjung, Wahyuni Pohan, Ayu Putri Julia, Akmal Fakhlevi, Bima Tarigan https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://e-journal.uniflor.ac.id/index.php/mahajana/article/view/4717 Fri, 04 Oct 2024 00:00:00 +0700 EDUKASI STIMULASI PERKEMBANGAN BADUTA DENGAN MEDIA VIDEO ANIMASI DI POSYANDU KUNCUP MEKAR 1 DESA SIKASUR https://e-journal.uniflor.ac.id/index.php/mahajana/article/view/4514 <p><em>The development of children aged 0-24 months is crucial for the child's survival. One effort to maintain children's growth within the normal range is by providing stimulation to children. This service aims to identify the characteristics of respondents (age, education and occupation), provide health education and identify the mother's level of knowledge before and after health education. Sampling was done using lecture, discussion, question and answer, and demonstration methods, totalling 19 respondents, namely mothers with babies aged 0-24 months. The research instrument uses a pre-test and post-test questionnaire. The media used are powerpoint, animation videos, and pocket books. The results obtained were that the characteristics of the participants were that most of them were aged 20-35 years (69%), some of the participants had completed elementary school education (58%) and most of the participants worked as housewives (89%). There is a difference before and after health education, namely an increase in pre-test and post-test results, as evidenced by the average pre-test score of 60.94 in the sufficient category, and the average post-test score of 75.47 in the good category. This shows increased maternal knowledge before and after health education, namely 14.53. It is hoped that the implementation of Community Service (PkM) can continue health education activities regarding stimulating development by adding personnel who aim to assist in the service process to make it more efficient. Differentiated learning is a method used by teachers to meet the needs of each student so that students can learn material according to their abilities, talents and interests as well as their individual needs so that they do not feel like they have failed in their learning experience. In differentiated learning, 3 aspects can be distinguished so that students can understand the learning material: the content, the process, and the product. Based on this, the service team conducted differentiated learning training to improve students' numeracy skills for teachers at SDN 23 Mataram. This training aims to increase teacher knowledge in implementing differentiated learning. Based on the results of community service activities that have been carried out, it can be said that these activities ran smoothly according to the planned schedule and were successful. This farmer group is a rice seed measuring group that participates in daily rice cultivation activities. The group, founded in 2010 and has 22 members, has various problems regarding rice cultivation and its group. The issues faced include a lack of knowledge of organic fertilizers, organic pesticides, pests on rice plants, group management, and marketing. These problems were increasingly felt by group members at the end of 2023 when the climate change phenomenon had a greater impact. The biggest impact of this phenomenon is that the rainy season changes, brown planthopper pests are increasingly attacking rice plants, plants die, production is low, and the price of grain and rice is increasingly expensive on the market but low at the farmer level. Community service activities have been carried out to overcome these problems. The purpose of this activity is to increase the knowledge of farmer group members and be able to efficiently overcome the difficulties experienced. This community service activity was carried out using the extension method, and to measure the success of the extension activity, a pre-test and post-test were carried out. The results of the pre-test and post-test were assessed by percentage and displayed in the form of a graph. Extension on organic fertilizers showed an increase in knowledge of members of the Karya Mekar farmer group by 93%, organic pesticide extension by 90.9%, pest extension on rice plants showed an increase in knowledge by 83.6%, group management extension 84.5% and marketing management extension 85.5%. The increase in group knowledge shows the success of the implementation of community service activities.
