Pelatihan Analisis Data Keuangan menggunakan Rstudio bagi Guru Akuntansi SMKN 1 Pandeglang Banten

Abstract

The advancement of information technology has increased the demand for enhanced digital competencies in the fields of accounting and finance, particularly in the processing and analysis of financial data. However, the accounting teachers at SMKN 1 Pandeglang still rely on basic software applications in teaching financial data processing systems to their students and have not yet utilized open-source applications such as RStudio. This community service program aimed to improve the competencies of accounting teachers at SMKN 1 Pandeglang in processing financial data using RStudio. The implementation method consisted of several stages, including needs identification, preparation of training modules, workshop implementation, hands-on practice sessions, and activity evaluation. The participants comprised 10 accounting teachers from SMKN 1 Pandeglang. The training materials included an introduction to RStudio, importing financial data from Microsoft Excel, retrieving stock price data through script coding, calculating stock returns, conducting basic data processing, and performing data visualization. The results of the program demonstrated that the use of learning technology could enhance teachers’ competencies and digital-based learning literacy, as evidenced by the pre-test and post-test results. Based on these results, the participants’ average score increased from 52 to 84. Furthermore, the participants showed a high level of enthusiasm throughout the training and were able to independently practice financial data processing. This activity is expected to enhance the digital competencies of accounting teachers at SMKN 1 Pandeglang in supporting technology-based accounting and finance education.
