PEMANFAATAN MENTIMETER DALAM PEMBELAJARAN FISIKA MODEL PROBLEM BASED LEARNING (PBL)

Abstract

Learning Management System (LMS) merupakan salah satu inovasi di bidang pendidikan yang memanfaatkan kemajuan teknologi masa kini. Pengguna LMS dapat menyiapkan berbagai konten pada LMS seperti halnya media pembelajaran Mentimeter yang sebelumnya disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan, tujuan pembelajaran, strategi pembelajaran, kemahiran guru maupun penerimaan dari siswa. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan penelitian untuk melihat respon siswa setelah menggunakan media pembelajaran Mentimeter dalam proses pembelajaran. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X (Fase E) SMAIT Abu Bakar Yogyakarta pada mata pelajaran fisika. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode survei menggunakan instrumen berupa angket khusus yang dibuat menggunakan skala Likert berskala 4. Butir-butir pernyataan pada angket terbagi ke dalam 4 aspek berupa usefulness, easy to use, easy to learn dan satisfaction. Jawaban yang pada angket dibuat dengan gradasi mulai dari sangat tidak setuju (STS), tidak setuju  (TS), setuju (S), dan sangat setuju (SS). Analisa data berdasarkan angket yang sudah diisi oleh siswa memberikan hasil berupa mentimeter yang digunakan memberikan manfaat 96%, mudah digunakan 86%, mudah dipelajari 92% dan memuaskan 95%. Dalam pembelajaran, mentimeter ini membuat pembelajaran berlangsung interaktif dengan memanfaatkan berbagai macam fitur menarik yang ada pada mentimeter.
