Prima Magistra: Jurnal Ilmiah Kependidikan is a scientific journal that publishes research articles and scholarly studies from lecturers, researchers, teachers, and students around the world. The focus and scope of the articles published in this journal include research findings and studies in the following areas: Elementary Education, Secondary Education, Higher Education (including Elementary School Teacher Education, and Elementary Education at the master's and doctoral levels), Character Education based on Religious Education, Character Education based on Pancasila and Citizenship Education, Non-formal Education, Informal Education, Education for Children with Special Needs, and Entrepreneurship Education.

Prima Magistra: Jurnal Ilmiah Kependidikan has been accredited SINTA 2 based on the Decree of the Director General of Higher Education, Research and Technology No. 10/C/C3/DT.05.00/2025 dated March 21, 2025.
