Article Withdrawal
Authors are not allowed to withdraw submitted manuscripts because such withdrawal is a waste of valuable resources that editors and reviewers have long spent to process submitted manuscripts and the work that the publisher has invested. As a note, before authors submit manuscripts through our OJS, authors are required to agree to the checklist that we provide.
- If an author requests a withdrawal of his/her manuscript while the manuscript is still in the peer-review process, the author will be subject to a penalty of USD 150 per manuscript.
- If a manuscript withdrawal is made after the manuscript has been accepted for publication, the author will be subject to a penalty of USD 200 per manuscript.
- If an article has been published as an "Article in Press" (an article that has been accepted for publication but has not been officially published and will not have complete volume/issue/page information) that contains errors or is found to be an unintentional duplicate of another published article, or is considered to violate our journal's publishing ethics guidelines in the opinion of the editor (such as multiple submissions, false claims of authorship, plagiarism, fraudulent use of data or the like), it may be "Withdrawn" from the Prima Magistra website. Withdrawal means that the content of the article (HTML and PDF) is removed and replaced with HTML and PDF pages that only state that the article has been withdrawn. In this case, the author will be penalized by paying USD 200 per manuscript.
- If the author doesn't agree to pay the penalty, the author and his/her affiliation will be blacklisted for publication in this journal (the author's name and affiliation will be published on the journal page).
If the author requests to withdraw the manuscript, an official letter signed by the relevant author and the affiliation leader must be sent to the Chief Editor.
